11/04-05/2018, Wall - Therapeutic Release: A Myofascial and Neuromuscular Approach to Chronic Pain for the Head and Neck
Head, neck and upper back pain are some of the most common complaints clients have when seeking massage for pain relief. This clinical massage course is designed for the therapist looking to expand their practice into working with clients experiencing chronic head and neck pain. A combination of myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy techniques and treatment protocols will be explored along with when and how to utilize them.
This seminar will study trigger point pain referral patterns and muscle dysfunction and their causes. Practical techniques will be demonstrated that can be used in the treatment room the very next day while being easily adapted to also fit into your current massage treatment.
Course is lecture and hands on practice.
