8/25 & 8/26, Hoboken- Basic Lomi-Lomi
Cortiva Institute - Continuing Education
This class will present the basics of Pololei style Lomi Lomi Massage as taught by Aunty Margaret Machao. This style of Lomi Lomi uses kneading and compressions to provide a deep tissue massage using gentle movements. We will discuss the Lomi Lomi History and traditions and the philosophy of Ho'oponopono. A full body protocol will be introduced and practiced. Due to the nature of this Lomi Lomi massage protocol, students are required to be able to lay face down for an extended period of time, for this reason this class would be a contraindication for who is pregnant or unable to lay face down.
